Sonya Pasamonte, Patient Care Coordinator

During your first visit to the office, after your consultation with Dr. Cassileth, Sonya will meet with you to discuss scheduling, logistics, concierge services, and finances. Sonya will be your main point of contact with our office.

Kristin Polega, PA-C, Physician's Assistant

With a master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine, Kristin received most of her surgical training at Yale Hospital in Connecticut, the primary teaching hospital of the Yale School of Medicine. She has been working closely with Dr. Lisa Cassileth since June 2007. Kristin will be an integral part of your pre- and post-operative care and is available to you if you have any questions or concerns about your surgery. Physician assistants are health care professionals licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision. As part of their comprehensive responsibilities, PAs conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventive health care, assist in surgery, and write prescriptions. Within the physician-PA relationship, physician assistants engage in medical decision-making and provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services.
