WHEN YOU JUST NEED A LITTLE LIFT
If you are just starting to have the beginning of jowls or droopy skin along the jaw line and neck, a Mini Lift might be the perfect option for you.
What is a Mini Lift?
A Mini Facelift or Mini Lift is sometimes called a Weekend Lift, S-Lift, Lunchtime Lift or Quick Lift. It is a less invasive surgical option for addressing the sagging skin of the lower face. By using small incisions, the Mini Facelift tightens as well as lifts the tissues of the jawline and lower face. Depending on your needs, it can sometimes be performed under light sedation.
What is the difference between a Mini Lift and a facelift?
While both the Mini Facelift and a Facelift address the jowls and lower face, people who have more extensive skin laxity, typically require a facelift. The Mini Lift is less invasive (and more affordable) than a full facelift. The recovery time for a Mini Facelift is 10-14 days; a Facelift has a three-week downtime and is performed under general anesthesia. As the name implies, the Mini Lift is best suited for patients that are just noticing the earliest signs of aging. If the area that bothers you is the neck, then a Neck Lift or Lower Facelift are required for optimal results. The doctor will review all of the options with you and create a surgical plan tailored specifically for you.
Who is a candidate for a Mini Lift?
The ideal candidate for a Mini Facelift is a man or woman who is in good health, who is bothered by the the earliest signs of skin laxity and would like a rejuvenated appearance. Typical patients are in their mid-30’s to early 40’s.
