Deep warming
Radiofrequency energy raises the temperature of tissue below the surface rather than only at the skin.
Recovery service
Indiba is a radiofrequency treatment that delivers low-level energy into tissue without damaging the skin. It is used through recovery to reduce swelling, improve circulation, and help tissue soften and settle into its final shape.
Overview
After surgery, tissue is swollen, firm, and slow to move fluid. Indiba passes a gentle radiofrequency current through the treated area, which warms the tissue from within and increases local blood flow.
The treatment is comfortable. Patients feel warmth, not heat. Because it does not injure the skin, it can be used earlier in recovery than treatments that work by creating a controlled wound.
In Dr. Cassileth’s recovery program it sits alongside lymphatic work: lymphatic drainage moves fluid out, and Indiba helps the tissue itself recover its normal texture and pliability.
How it works
Radiofrequency energy raises the temperature of tissue below the surface rather than only at the skin.
Warmed tissue receives more blood flow, which supports healing and clears retained fluid.
Firm, swollen tissue becomes more pliable over a series of sessions.
Later in recovery, the same energy encourages the skin to tighten over the new contour.
When it's used
Sessions can begin in the first weeks after surgery, on a schedule set by the procedure.
Usually weekly sessions over several weeks while swelling resolves.
Used after breast reduction, reconstruction, liposuction, and body contouring.
Who it's for
Patients after breast surgery, liposuction, and body contouring who want swelling to resolve sooner and tissue to soften and settle. The recovery team sets timing for each procedure.
Every aftercare service is coordinated directly between your surgeon and your recovery providers. Nothing is handed off, and nothing is added without a reason specific to your case.
