Dr. Lisa Cassileth is a board-certified, Ivy-League-trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon, specializing in corrective cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery. She is the past Chief of Plastic Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a position she held for two consecutive terms. Her advanced, minimal incision surgeries give her patients exceptionally beautiful, natural results.
Dr. Cassileth provides a full range of body procedures, with a particular focus on the breast. She is a leader in the field of breast revision surgery - correcting previous surgeries that other doctors have been unable to fix. Patients from all over the world seek her out for her one-stage breast reconstruction which allows mastectomy patients to wake up from surgery with their breasts intact, rather than face multiple surgeries. She is also widely renowned for correcting capsular contracture and her specialized, minimal scar breast lift. Her friendly staff and her welcoming Beverly Hills offices make patients and their families feel comfortable and safe.
In 2015, fueled by her long-standing passion for providing excellent breast healthcare, Dr. Cassileth founded Bedford Breast Center. The team at the breast center specializes in nipple-sparing mastectomy, minimal-incision lumpectomy, mammography, and genetic testing in a beautiful state-of-the-art facility in Beverly Hills.
Vitals recognized Dr. Lisa Cassileth as a recipient of its Compassionate Doctor Award for 2021. Doctors who receive this award have the highest overall and bedside manner ratings by their patients. Being honored with a Patient's Choice Vitals Compassionate Doctor Award means the world to Dr. Cassileth – because the award comes from the people whose opinions matter most – her patients.
